I would like to apply for the Photography course. I am not the owner of a professional camera, but nowadays the integrated cameras that come with devices as cellphones or tablets has enough resources to achieve a great photo. At least that is what reviews say. Also, my cellphone gives me the option to go in “Pro mode” where the exposure, ISO, the aperture and other things are controlled manually, and I would like to learn how to use it with sense.
I am a student of engineering and I have learned something about physics and I’m involved with the technology, and in the photography both areas are involved, but it’s interesting that despite of knowing about both areas I can’t use the camera options to achieve interesting pictures. I think that getting good photos is important to add certain mysticism to the moment that you want to record and also to add personality to the photo in order to impress the viewer.

I would like to do the Astronomy course, because it’s so interesting to know more about the stars, planets and all which is out of our planet, mainly if any of this objects could affect us in a negative way. I don’t know very much about this topic but the universal law of gravity and simple stuff.

I would really like to do this course because there is too much knowledge outside our planet, stars, asteroids, black holes, etc. It would be a first approach to one of my dreams, which is to develop technologies that could be used to study all the elements and phenomenons in the space. For that I’m thinking of doing a masters to continue my mechatronics major in this field.
It would be great to create a company developing these technologies with the seal of Costa Rica and give work and progress to many families. If I receive this funding I’d make it come true.

I would like very much to take the photography course because I am a nature lover, I really enjoy the nearby landscapes of the town where I live. I relax watching and going to the mountains and I would love to be able to immortalize what I see with an excellent photograph. Also with these photographs I could show people how beautiful the place where I live and the species of animals that there are, like birds and frogs of many colors. I recently went camping and I took photos of the landscapes and some animals with my cell phone, but the technique was not the best and it is where I realize how much I need this course. If I can take this course I will send the best photographs of the place where I live and thus prove how much I learned.
